Watch Out For These Acai Berry Scams
Acai berry scams have quite literally taken over the internet. With a simple search you may find tons of ads in front of your face. With all of these ads promising so much it's hard not to get caught up in the possibilities of losing so much weight.
Because of how popular the scam has become I wanted to write this article just to inform everybody of what's going on and how they can avoid being scammed.
The "bitter berry" as it's sometimes called came to North America around the late 80's but due to it's bitter taste most didn't bother to even try it.
Once scientists were able to put all the nutrients from the berry into pill form though the berry literally took off. It seemed that no matter where you went people were talking about this berry and how much weight men and women alike were losing due to it.
Like all good things though some people had to try to ruin it. Some con men got together and decided to offer people free trials of the acai berry as long as they paid shipping and handling for it. The reason they did this was because when they paid shipping and handling the con men would get their credit card information and would be able to bill them every few weeks whether they wanted to continue or not.
This was pretty tricky and they continue to make a boat load of money by doing this. Most consumers just cancel and don't really mind being out a hundred dollars or so but it really bothers me when I think that people think acai is a scam when that couldn't be further from the truth.
Remember that acai itself is great - the way it's promoted simply isn't.
